Picking up a pencil and writing down a story started it all.

 

Throughout the years, writing has been my passion. Telling stories through fiction led to a desire to tell real-life stories.

 

My journey into journalism started when I began thinking of what career I wanted. I enrolled in the Mount Royal University Bachelor of Communication degree majoring in journalism.

 

I also had the opportunity to film a documentary in Mexico about urban muralism in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Because of this, I decided to pursue a certification in International Communication.

When I am not working, I enjoy going to the mountains, hiking, spending time with my friends and family, and writing stories.
